Tammy Paynter spotlight

UCEA Spotlight

Tammy Paynter
My name is Tammy Paynter and I have worked for the Utah County Attorney’s Office for a year and a half.  Prior to coming to Utah County, I worked for Murray City and Smithfield City in the same field.  I moved to Spanish Fork about 5 years ago and love living in Utah County.  I have 3 awesome kids and 5 wonderful step-kids.  I’m also the grandma to two adorable little grandsons.

I enjoy sports - well, I enjoy watching others play sports and spending time with my ever growing family.  I’m originally from Georgia sooo, if it’s a carbonated beverage it’s a Coke, vegetables are better deep-fried, grits taste way better than they look, peanuts are best when boiled and the Falcons always have a shot at the playoffs! I look forward to meeting and getting to know more of y’all!

2015 SPOTLIGHTS: UCEA Board Members *UPDATED*

KERI CHENEY

Keri was born and raised in Provo.  She graduated from Provo High and is now going to UVU to get a degree in legal studies.  Keri has worked for Utah County for five years and loves her job.

Some of her interests are bowling, biking, and boating.  (You know – the three “B”s).  Keri and her husband just got new bikes this year and plans to add to the distance she can go.  Lake Powell is Keri’s favorite place to boat.  The water is nice and warm and the area is beautiful.

She has 8 children, 20 grandchildren with one on the way, and 2 great-grandchildren.  Keri loves to be home and just spend the evening with her family.  Music is also very important.  Keri plays the piano for her church and can sing beautifully.

ALICE BLACK

Alice has worked for Utah County for almost 5 years in the Record’s Management Department.  She was born in Indiana and has lived in 20 different states.  As a sophomore her family moved to Spanish Fork, and she has stayed ever since.

Alice has two wonderful adult twin children (a boy and a girl), who have given her three wonderful grandchildren.  The family isn’t complete unless you count the dog and cat.  The pets get along so well that they often sleep together and even share the same litter box.

Alice has many interests such as crocheting, playing racquetball, watching movies, and singing.  In fact, Alice enjoys singing so much, she sang a little professionally.  Alice is very friendly, sociable, and outgoing.  She loves to talk and has a loud infectious laugh.

She recently started working on a Master’s Degree in Public Administration so doesn’t have much free time but when she does she loves playing volleyball, softball, biking, hiking, interior design, cooking, learning French, spending time with family and friends and traveling.  Her favorite place she’s visited so far is Paris, France and the next place on her list is Santorini, Greece.

DONNA SHERMAN

Donna has worked for the Children’s Justice Center for over 18 years.  She is the secretarial support to the CJC staff, and she loves her job.  Donna appreciates her co-workers, the DCFS caseworkers, law enforcement, and the CJC Advisory Board members.  They all work so hard to make a difference in the lives of children and families every day.  “They are ALL dedicated and amazing people,” she said.

Donna has four children and three adorable grandchildren.  She is an avid reader and loves reading to her grandchildren.  She also enjoys helping her grandkids with their homework, hanging out in the park, and going to the Farmer’s Market.  Donna likes listening to country music and enjoys attending concerts.  She also enjoys watching college basketball and football, the NBA, the NFL, and the New York Yankees.
